How much biotin is too much?

The NHS says 0.9mg (900 micrograms) or less a day from supplements is unlikely to cause harm.

Can biotin affect blood tests?

Yes. High-dose biotin can interfere with some laboratory tests, including thyroid and heart tests. Tell your doctor if you take it before any blood test.
